PACE co-rapporteur intends to prepare objective report on Azerbaijan

The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe's (PACE) co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan, Spanish MP Pedro Agramunt will prepare an objective and democratic report on Azerbaijan.

At the meeting with Azerbaijani Parliamentary Speaker Ogtay Asadov today, Agramunt said he will prepare an objective, impartial and democratic report on Azerbaijan.

Agramunt appraised the work done in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan has partially implemented three of the obligations undertaken by the country when joining the PACE and the others have been completely implemented, Asadov said. "This is an eloquent example that Azerbaijan attaches great importance to the values of the Council of Europe and Europe in general," Asadov said.

Other Co-rapporteur, Maltese MP Joseph Debono Grech also attended the meeting.
