The 2011 spring session of the Azerbaijani Parliament will kick off tomorrow, the Parliament's press office reported.

Fourteen issues, including reorganization of legislation plan and the Parliament’s Disciplinary and Counting commissions are on agenda of the first meeting which will be held on February 1.
Approval of the draft laws on the agreement on Caspian Sea security cooperation, Joint Statement of the presidents of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation and Turkmenistan, visa free travel agreement between Azerbaijani and Italian governments for persons having diplomatic and service passports”, visa free travel agreement between Azerbaijani and Montenegro governments for persons having diplomatic and service passports, visa free travel agreement between Azerbaijani and Portuguese governments for persons having diplomatic and service passports”, the agreement between Azerbaijani and Kazakhstan’s governments on civil defense and prevention of emergency situations, the convention on privileges and immunities of the secretariat, participants and staff members of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia will be put to the vote. Besides, the draft laws on the amendments and annexes to the Electoral Code, the annexes to Code of Administrative Offences, the amendments and annexes to the law on public service and law on obligatory insurances will also be discussed.
