Azerbaijan's ambassador to Ukraine meets chairman of Kiev city administration

Azeri ambassador to Ukraine Eynulla Madatli met with chairman of Kiev city administration Alexander Popov. The sides discussed accomplishment of the square, where monument to national leader Heydar Aliyev erected, prospects of bilateral cooperation between Baku and Kiev and the upcoming Novruz holiday.

Mr. Popov reminded on an official visit of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev to Ukraine in 2010 and meeting with him. Popov initiated to open the square on November 6 2011 – Day of Kiev liberation from fascist invaders.

Ambassador handed over a letter of invitation of Baku mayor Hajibala Abutalibov to Popov to visit Azerbaijan.
