Georgian FM to pay visit to Azerbaijan

Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze will visit Azerbaijan on January 18, Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Nino Kalantadze said at the briefing today.

She said that the visit would continue for two days and Vashadze would meet with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and President Ilham Aliyev.

She noted that this visit will be traditional and some issues and projects would be discussed within the framework of the visit.

"This visit confirms the closest relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan and the deepening of relations."
