Lithuanian OSCE chairmanship will not be revolutionary

The Lithuanian chairmanship will not be revolutionary since the OSCE is an organization where the achieved progress is measured in millimeters, but has "the value of gold", The Baltic Course quoted the OSCE Special Envoy for Protracted Conflicts Giedrius Cekuolis.

Lithuania accepted OSCE chairmanship from Kazakhstan on Jan.1.

"The chairmanship's goal when aiming to make progress in protracted conflicts will be to prompt the political will of the participating states in making use of the existing mechanisms," he said.
