Azerbaijan ready to work with new U.S. ambassador

Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry has commented on Matthew Bryza’s appointment as U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

"Azerbaijan has long voiced its consent to Matthew Bryza’s appointment as U.S. Ambassador to Azerbaijan," Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesman Elkhan Polukhov said.

"We are ready to cooperate with the new U.S. ambassador to Azerbaijan, and we wish him success in his work," Polukhov added.
