New IDP settlement under construction in Azerbaijan

Some 552 houses will be constructed in the new settlement for IDPs from Lachin region settled in a town of Finnish houses.

Reportedly, 111 ha land has been allocated for new settlement. Vafa Alizadeh, official of the State Committee for Refugees and IDPs, said that alongside with 552 houses 2 fire fighting depots, 1 administrative building, school for 260 pupils, kindergarten for 50 children, a water pipe from Upper Karabakh, modern sewage treatments, electrical substations will be built there and all the houses will be provided with gas.

About 3,500 houses will be built for IDPs from Lachin region settled in various towns of Finnish houses in Agjabadi.
