Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis marked abroad

Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Turkmenistan organized Tuesday an event to mark the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and New Year. Opening the event, ambassador Vahdat Sultan-zade briefed the participants on the history of the Day of Solidarity.

The diplomat spoke of the ongoing economic reforms in Azerbaijan. He also read out President Ilham Aliyev`s message to the World Azerbaijanis.

Azerbaijan Culture Center in Berlin and Coordination Center of Azerbaijanis in Germany have co-organized an event to celebrate the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis.

Those, who addressed the event, spoke of the importance of the Day of Solidarity. The event was attended by Azerbaijani students, official of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Berlin, Nurchin Aliyev and scientist Arif Kaskin.

Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Morocco organized Tuesday an event to mark the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and New Year.

The event brought together ambassadors, employees of the Embassy, officials of Morocco`s Foreign Ministry and members of Azerbaijan-Morocco Friendship Association.

Opening the event, ambassador Agabayov told of the history of the Day of Solidarity. The event participants saw an exhibition featuring the history of Azerbaijan and national leader Heydar Aliyev's lifetime and activity.
