Azerbaijani ambassador to Argentina interviewed by El Ciudadano newspaper

Azerbaijan's ambassador to Argentina Mammad Ahmadzadeh gave an interview to "El Ciudadano" newspaper which is included to the country's largest media holding "Grupo Ambito", Foreign Ministry's press service reported.

The diplomat spoke about Azerbaijan's way after re-gaining independence, the development and progress in all the fields, Azerbaijan's turning into the leader country in the region and the indicators which reflect it, Azerbaijan's successes in oil and gas industry, Azerbaijan's turning into the great supplier of oil and gas, Azerbaijan's economic perspectives and said that our country was the main motive power of regional cooperation, integration and development.

The diplomat touched upon the question of occupation of 20% of Azerbaijani territories and ethnic cleansing conducted by Armenia, as a result of which more than one million Azerbaijanis have become refugees and internally displaced persons.

He said that our country's international relations were speedily developing and the first embassy of Azerbaijan in South America had been established in Argentina. He discussed the state of relations with Argentina and the further development perspectives.
