Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh issues statement on illegal trip of member of European Parliament to occupied territories of Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh region of Azerbaijan issued a statement regarding the illegal trip of the Member of Euroapean Parliament, main Reporter on Armenia`s issues Tomash Poreba (Poland) to the occupied territories of Azerbaijan.

The statement says that despite the fact that international organizations including the European Parliament always supported territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and issued resolutions on Nagorno Karabakh, member of EP Tomash Poreba has visited the occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Thus, member of the European Parliament, who travelled to the occupied Azerbaijani territory straight from Armenia, has violated the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, the statement reports.

“The Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Karabakh region of the Azerbaijan Republic express an outrage against this fact and recognizes it not only as a violation of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, but also as a gross infringement of international law”, according to the statement.
