Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Defense Dialogue to be held in Baku mid-January

Azerbaijan-Turkey High-Level Defense Dialogue, which was scheduled for December, 2010, was postponed until mid-January, 2011, defense sources said.

Turkey’s heavy schedule and some technical problems caused postponing the dialogue. The military-political, military-technical, security cooperation and defense cooperation plan will be discussed at the meeting.

The last dialogue took place in Ankara in February, 2010 with participation of the Azerbaijani delegation headed by the deputy defense minister, Lieutenant- General Chingiz Mammadov.
