AsiaTimes: Azerbaijan takes control over the next phase of evolution of Central Eurasian energy geo-economics

China's English-language newspaper AsiaTimes has published an article “New Eurasia power emerges” featuring energy policy of Azerbaijan. It says Azerbaijan is taking control over the next phase of evolution of Central Eurasian energy geo-economics.

The article says Azerbaijan is a regional leader in terms of development of geo-economics. Oil-rich Azerbaijan can become a leading country for gas transportation to Europe thanks to many energy projects.

“Azerbaijan has diversified its potential export partners by continuing its energy trade with Russia and Turkey while exploring possibilities to deliver natural gas to Bulgaria and Romania”.

It says Baku's decision between the Nabucco and South Stream pipelines will come definitively in the future.
