Azerbaijani Parliamentary Speaker: Elections passed at a high level

The results of the parliamentary elections have not been annulled in none of the election commission, which indicates a high level of their organization, Azerbaijani Parliamentary Speaker Ogtay Asadov said at the opening of the session.

Central Election Commission (CEC) Chairman Mazahir Panahov handed out mandates of newly elected MPs and expressed hope that the people's representatives' activities will promote the development of Azerbaijan.

"The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan were democratic and transparent," Panahov said.
