Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan research possible areas of economic cooperation

Uzbek delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade Elyor Ganiev and Azerbaijani Economic Minister Shahin Mustafayev visited enterprises in Baku and Sumgayit.

According to Ministry, the guests were informed that the Sumgayit Technologies Park is a huge production enterprise implementing infrastructure projects in industry of Azerbaijan. Currently, 6 plants operate at the Tecno Park and 2 more plants are planned to be put into use, 8 plants are being constructed. There are near 800 workers in it.

The guests were also informed that this plant will produce cable, transformer, high voltage equipments, hydroturbine, water pumps, electric motors, pipes and other.

Then the guests met the Caspian Fish Co. Azerbaijan and they were informed about the products. The fish and fish productions are exported to the abroad. Then discussions were hold with Uzbek delegation and stressed the importance of mutual cooperation, business meeting and mutual visits.
