Moldovans residing in Azerbaijan voted for Communists

Majority of Moldovans residing in Azerbaijan voted for the Communists in the parliamentary elections of this country, the Moldovan embassy in Azerbaijan said.

"The number of Moldovans living in Azerbaijan is too small. Therefore, 20-30 Moldovan citizens voted at the polling station established in the Embassy and most voted for the Communist Party," the embassy said.

Moldova held early parliamentary elections on Nov.28.

After counting of 91.1% of ballots, the Communist Party finally came in first place with 41.2% of the vote, Liberal Democratic Party won 28%, the Democratic Party - 13.2% and the Liberal Party - 8.8% of the vote.
