Azerbaijan, EU discuss prospects for cooperation

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby on November 26.
They discussed current state of and prospects for cooperation between the organization and the country, and also stressed the importance of the Eastern Partnership project.

Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Minister informed Semneby about the course of peace talks. Semneby expressed hope the conflict would be resolved soon.
