Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan discuss bilateral cooperation

On November 25, Azerbaijan's Prime Minister Artur Rasizade met with Deputy Chairman of Turkmenistan's Cabinet of Ministers Khidir Saparliyev and his accompanying delegation, which is in Azerbaijan to attend a meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan intergovernmental commission.

Rasizade gave a background of Azerbaijan's economic successes achieved during the last few years. He also praised Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan relations in various fields, including political, economic, scientific and cultural ones.

The Azeri Premier stressed the existing potential for development of all-round cooperation. Saparliyev expressed confidence that the meeting of the Azerbaijan-Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission would be fruitful and give a “push to development of bilateral relations” between the two countries.
