Azerbaijani President approves law on need criterion

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev signed on Wednesday a decree approving the Law on need criterion in the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2011, AzerTAc state news agency reported.

The Cabinet of Ministers is in charge of preparing proposals on bringing existing legislation into conformity with the Law and submit them to the President within a month, Cabinet Ministers and relevant central executive bodies must ensure compliance of laws and regulations with this law and report the Head of State, as well as resolve other issues arising from this law.

According to the Law on need criterion in the Azerbaijan Republic for 2011 adopted by the Parliament of Azerbaijan to determine the targeted state social aid, the need criterion was approved at 75 manat.
