President Ilham Aliyev receives former German foreign minister

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Former German Foreign Minister, honorary chairman of the Free Democratic Party Hans-Dietrich Genscher on Tuesday.

Genscher noted he is aware of great development processes in Azerbaijan. He noted he witnessed rapid economic growth, which impressed him very much. The former German Minister underlined the importance of accomplishments achieved in implementation of infrastructure projects.

President Ilham Aliyev told of the dynamic economic expansion in the country. He pointed out the economy of Azerbaijan is growing at a fast pace. The Head of State stressed the significance of large-scale economic reforms in the country.

Discussion also revolved around Germany-Azerbaijan bilateral ties, energy and international issues.
