Azerbaijani President congratulates his Iraqi counterpart

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev  congratulated Iraqi President Jalal Talabani on Friday, AzerTAc state news agency reported.

"I cordially congratulate You on re-election as the President of the Republic of Iraq. I am sure that the Azerbaijani-Iraqi relations will continue to consistently develop and strengthen in the interests of our peoples," the letter said.

Aliyev wished Talabani good health, success in serving the good people of Iraq.
