Polish embassy marks Azerbaijan's National Flag Day

The event brought together representatives of the diplomatic corps, including Ambassador of Russia to Poland, Ambassadors of Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Moldova with spouses.

Azerbaijani Ambassador Hasan Hasanov said the flag of Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was approved at the session of the Supreme Council of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic under auspices of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

He said President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on declaration November 9 as National Flag Day and construction of the national flag square, which has been opened in September 1 2010.
