Azerbaijan and Turkey to develop warship building cooperation

Officials of the Turkish war shipbuilding companies are planning to visit Azerbaijan soon, Turkish Defense Industry Secretary said. The delegation will discuss war shipbuilding cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey and exchange opinion about the joint production of ships and other vessels.

Turkish defense industry officials said Turkey’s Yonca Onuk Company’s representatives are expected to visit Azerbaijan in near future. The company is negotiating the building of naval vessels for Caspian littoral states. Yonca Onuk can build vessels with 500-ton water-holding capacity for Azerbaijan and other littoral states.

Yonca Onuk is producing Onuk composite board boats and exporting it to the Gulf countries, Georgia and Pakistan.
