The Jamestown Foundation and the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute will hold a conference on the topic "U.S.-Azerbaijan Relations: State of "the Strategic Partnership" in Washington Nov.9, the Foundation's website reports.
The U.S. Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy Richard Morningstar, a leading American political scientist and former National Security Adviser to the President of the United States Zbigniew Brzezinski, the Jamestown Foundation President Glen Howard, the Jamestown Foundation Senior Fellow, political analyst Vladimir Socor, the Director of the Center for Strategic Studies under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elkhan Nuriyev, Chairman of the Central-Asia Caucasus Institute ( SAIS) Frederick Starr will address with reports at the conference.
Brzezinski will address the conference with a special presentation "Azerbaijan in U.S. Energy Policy in the Caspian."
