Azerbaijani defense minister meets with Chinese national defense minister

Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel-General Safar Abiyev, who is visiting the People's Republic of China, met with National Defense Minister of this country Liang Guanglie. Abiyev was solemnly welcomed at the Chinese National Defense Ministry.

Further enhancement of the military cooperation between Azerbaijan and China was discussed at the meeting. Guanglie said that official Beijing was very much interested in further development this cooperation in the future.

Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister Safar Abiyev said official Baku respects for independence and territorial integrity of the People’s Republic of China and attaches great importance to the cooperation with this country.
