
The delegation led by Yevgeni Sloboda, head of the CIS mission to observe November 7 parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, met with the first deputy prosecutor general of Azerbaijan Rustam Usubov on Friday.
The first deputy prosecutor general of republic updated the visitors on all-round reforms carried out in the country, the existence of legal base for democratic and transparent environment for the forthcoming elections, full-provided suffrage for all citizens. Usubov informed also about the duties of the public prosecutor bodies during the elections.
Noting that cooperation with the CIS is always at high level, Yevgeni Sloboda expressed gratitude for created conditions, stressed the importance of local and international observation for free and fair elections in any country.
The meeting also focused on questions of mutual concern.
