28 October 2010 [14:11] - TODAY.AZ
The international organizations are not expected to hold "exit-poll" in the upcoming parliamentary elections, Azerbaijani Central Election Commission (CEC) International Relations Department head Rovzat Gasimov told Trend.

"The CEC has not yet received appeals from the international organizations in connection with the conduct of "exit-poll" in the upcoming parliamentary elections," Gasimov said.

ELS Independent Research Center, which has already passed registration at the CEC, will organize exit-poll in Azerbaijan's 1,180 constituencies.

In each of the 1,180 polling stations two interviewers will poll voters. Interviewers' questionnaire will be counted four times a day. The survey will be submitted to the central headquarters.

The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010. Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
