27 October 2010 [11:42] - TODAY.AZ
Azerbaijan and European Union will hold next meeting on the Eastern Partnership associative agreement in Baku mid-December, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Mahmoud Mammadguliyev said.

The deputy minister spoke about the results of the meeting held in Brussels this month. He said it was second round of the talks: “We are in the first phase of the negotiations and therefore we don’t discuss all issues by chapters. We are continuing to work on that and planning to hold next meeting in Baku mid-December. If Azerbaijan and EU are ready, the meeting will take place”.

Answering the question about duration of the talks on the associative agreement, Mahmoud Mammadguliyev said both Azerbaijan and EU had their own positions. “We agreed on several issues, but there are many problems we have to discuss, including trade, security and other problems”.
