Azerbaijani Defense Minister receives delegation of Russian Federation Council

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev received a delegation headed by Viktor Maslov, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Federation Council on Defense and Security of the Russian Federation, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.

The meeting focused on exchange of views on military and political situation in the region and the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan, Vladimir Dorokhin, also attended the meeting.
