Azerbaijan's top diplomat meets incoming Japanese envoy

Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met newly appointed ambassador of Japan Shusuke Watanabe. The ambassador gave a copy of his credentials to minister Mammadyarov, expressing satisfaction with his appointment.

The diplomat said the two countries had “great” potential to develop cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan, vowing he would spare no efforts to contribute to expanding the bilateral relations. Mammadyarov congratulated the new ambassador and wished him successes in his activities.
