Azerbaijani FM starts Georgia trip

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has arrived in Georgia and a cultural program was organized for him in the country. Mammadyarov is now in the renovated tourist town of Sighnaghi in eastern Georgia, the Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend.

Today, Mammadyarov will also visit Bodbe and Mtskheta and go sightseeing. Today, a national holiday Svetitshovloba is marked in Mtskheta. Mammadyarov will hold official meeting on Oct.15, the ministry reported.

Mammadyarov is expected to meet with Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, Prime Minister Nika Gilauri, and Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze. The parties will discuss cooperation between the two countries.
