Head of Caucasian Muslims' Board meets Austrian envoy to Azerbaijan

Sheikh ul-Islam stressed the importance for development of relations between the two states. He stressed Azerbaijan is “an example of tolerance”.

Touching upon Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh, Pashazade said the dispute must be settled by peaceful means and within territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, adding “this is invariable stance of Azerbaijan”.

He also gave full information to the Austrian envoy on relations between religion and government in the country, and added irrespective of their language and religion representatives of all nations are living in Azerbaijan in friendly condition. Sylvia Meier-Kajbic, in turn, praised tolerant attitude to minorities and religions in Azerbaijan.
