
Caspian Sea energy issues and Azerbaijan’s policy, as well as US policy and Washington-Baku co-operation will be discussed in Washington DC October 13 with the participation of top US officials and analysts.
Richard Morningstar, Special Envoy for Eurasian Energy at the State Department; Brenda Shaffer, lecturer at the School of Political Sciences at the University of Haifa; and S. Frederick Starr, Chairman of the Central Asia-Caucasus Institute at SAIS will participate at the Johns Hopkins University Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Discussion on "The Caspian’s Changing Role in Global Energy."
The organizers of the conference told APA’s correspondent that this issue is one of the most discussable now in US, and they are interesting both to the analysts and the officials. Journalists, students, prominent experts on the region and embassy stuff will attend the conference.
