Azerbaijan's Minister of Internal Affairs Ramil Usubov met with head of the observation mission of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Audrey Glover on October 7.

Usubov gave
full information about the work done to protect public order, as well as
duties of police during and after election. He stressed the
Ministry of Internal Affairs has prepared an Action Plan for the
electoral period. He noted the Ministry and the Central Election
Commission have published a brochure on participation of policemen in
the parliamentary elections.
Usubor stressed one of the main duties
of police is to protect voters, candidates and polling stations during
the elections. Audrey Glover thanked for warm welcome, information
and ministry's election-related actions. The sides also discussed
issues of mutual interest.
