President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates Azerbaijan State Academic National Theater of Drama after major repairs - PHOTOS

President Ilham Aliyev attended opening of the newly-reconstructed Azerbaijan State Academic National Theater of Drama on October 7. The Head of State, his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva and daughter Arzu Aliyeva first viewed a square after its reconstruction in front of the theater.

President Ilham Aliyev saw the photographs reflecting previous and current look of the building, and construction process. Reconstruction of the building started in November 2008. Ilham Aliyev inspected what has been done in the foyer, central box, make-up, technical rooms and a scene.

The theater is ready to open its doors in the new season. The President expressed satisfaction with what has been done and gave recommendations.
