French FM Koushner hopes for progress in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict resolution based on Madrid principles

France hopes Armenia and Turkey will continue productive dialogue and progress will be achieved in resolving the Karabakh conflict on the basis of Madrid Principles, French Foreign Minister Bernard Koushner said in a statement read out by French ambassador to Armenia Serzh Smesow in a forum “Armenia-France de-centralized cooperation.”

The minister said in a statement that resolution of these issues and the development of dialogue is very important from the standpoint of peace and security in South Caucasus, which is a very sensitive region not only in terms of geography, but also because it is the center of cultures and civilizations.
