The OSCE field assessment mission has arrived in the Nagorno-Karabakh on Thursday, the Novosti-Armenia news agency reported.

Members of the Assessment Mission, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen in the territories around Nagorno-Karabakh, the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen Igor Popov (Russia), Robert Bradtke (U.S), Bernard Fassier (France) and the special representative of the OSCE chairman Andrzej Kasprzyk arrived in the Nagorno-Karabakh from Yerevan, where last night met with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan and Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian.
The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen launched their visit to the region from Baku on Oct.4, where they met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
The OSCE assessment mission examines the situation in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan upon Baku's initiative. During the last visit, the co-chairs visited these areas and studied the situation. It is expected that the mediators will prepare a report on the situation in the occupied lands.
