OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs arrive in Nakhchivan

The OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs have arrived in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, a source in NAR Supreme Majlis said. The co-chairs arrived in Nakhchivan today roughly at 11:00. The members of the fact-finding mission including the co-chairs will today leave for Armenia. In Yerevan, they will meet with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.

Tomorrow, members visit Khankandi and afterwards trip to Azerbaijan’s occupied regions surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh. The mission will complete the work either on October 13 or 14 depending on whether conditions.

The assessment mission last visited the occupied lands around Nagorno-Karabakh in February 2005.
