Turkish Speaking Countries Day marked in Baku

On the occasion of the October 3, Turkish Speaking Countries Day, a meeting was organized by the World Young Turkish Writers Unity and Modern Development Public Union (MDPU) in Baku on Friday.

Addressing the ceremony, the head of the Board of MDPU Mubariz Ashirli said announcement of the Turkish-speaking Countries Day plays an important role in the life of the Turkish speaking countries.

He said the fall of the Soviet Union and independence Turkish-speaking republics gained marked a new era in their development.

The ceremony participants made speeches regarding Turkish-speaking Countries Day.
