President Ilham Aliyev receives outgoing Japanese ambassador

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today received Japanese ambassador Masamitsu Oki who has completed his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan. The Head of State praised Masamitsu Oki's diplomatic activity in Azerbaijan. He underlined the importance of the diplomat's contributions to development of Azerbaijan-Japan relations.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed hope that relationship between the two countries would further strengthen. Masamitsu Oki, in turn, said he had nice memories of Azerbaijan. Touching upon the reciprocal visits, the ambassador said President Ilham Aliyev's visit to Japan contributed to boosting the ties between the two countries.
