German resident of Azerbaijani origin to run for Bundestag

The parliamentary elections to the German Parliament are slated for November 28.

“I estimate my chances as very high as I get wide support,” said Karimova who heads the Azerbaijan-Germany cultural center. According to Karimova, she is supported by Azerbaijanis, the Turks living in Munich, and also the Jewish lobby.

“My aim is to be actively involved in the political life of Germany. From the highest platforms I am going to deliver the truth about Azerbaijan to the German community, and I hope I will find support,” said Karimova.
