Azerbaijani parliament to start autumn session tomorrow

The autumn session of Azerbaijani parliament will start on September 30, spokesman for the parliament Akif Nasirov said.
Nasirov said 12 issues have been included into the plan of the legislative activities of the autumn session. 34 documents, draft law on ratification of the intergovernmental agreement, amendments and annexes to a number of legislative acts will be discussed at the meetings on September 30 and October 8.

“These are mainly documents initiated by the Head of State, Supreme Court, Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and other bodies,” he said.

Spokesman said draft law on “State budget of Azerbaijan Republic for 2011” was expected to be discussed in the autumn session, but it had not been submitted to the parliament yet.
