Morocco 'supports' Azerbaijan's position on Karabakh conflict

The Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives has expressed his country's backing of Azerbaijan`s position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Abdelwahad Radi told Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade that Morocco wanted the conflict to be solved peacefully and based on the principle of Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity.
Rasizade praised Morocco`s supporting Azerbaijan`s “just position” on the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.

On the bilateral relations between the two countries, Radi said Morocco was keen to develop overall relations with Azerbaijan.

“Our visit demonstrates how much importance Morocco places to boosting the relations with Azerbaijan.”

“There are good opportunities to develop our relations in a variety of fields,” he added.
Rasizade expressed confidence the Moroccan delegation`s visit would contribute to developing the two countries` ties.

The Premier highlighted Azerbaijan`s economic achievements. He also praised the creation of an Azerbaijan-Morocco intergovernmental commission.
