Former Armenian ambassador to Russia Armen Smbatyan visits Baku

CIS Youth Symphony Orchestra headed by famous conductor, People’s Artist of USSR, President of Moscow International House of Music Vladimir Spivakov held a concert at Azerbaijan State Philarmony within the framework of “Uzeyir Hajibeyov-125” international music festival.

Special representative of Russian President for Cultural cooperation Michael Shvidkoy expressed proud of getting a chance to participate in events related to famous composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov’s 125th anniversary. Azerbaijani ambassador to Russia Polad Bulbuloglu and former Armenian ambassador to Russia, Executive Director of the Humanitarian Cooperation Council of the CIS Armen Smbatyan attended the concert as well.

Soloists Fen Nin and Olga Volkova performed with concert program. Uzeyir Hajibeyov’s “Arazbari”, Juzeppe Verdi’s “Power of Fate”, Pyotr Chaykowski’s “Swan Lake” and “Shelkunchik” were performed at the program.
