Iranian embassy in Azerbaijan makes statement condemning the Quran burning

"Burning the Quran by some American atheists and Satanists in the memory of Sept. 11 is inhumane and demonic action," said the statement of the embassy.

This action was committed by atheists under the influence of Zionism, said the statement.

"The reason for such actions of these people is that they are helpless before the logic of Quran, Islam's humanism and philosophy of liberty."

Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan joins the protests of the friendly and brotherly Muslim people of Azerbaijan, as well as billions of Muslims throughout the world against these reprehensible actions. Such actions will never be able to weaken respect for Islam among peoples of the planet or stop the development of our religion," said the statement.
