Ilham Aliyev congratulated Dmitri Medvedev on his birthday

Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev made a telephone call to Russian leader Dmitry Medvedev to congratulate him on his birthday on Tuesday. The Azerbaijani leader wished his Russian counterpart robust health and successes in his presidential activities, according to press service of Azerbaijan's President.

Dmitry Medvedev thanked President Ilham Aliyev for his attention and congratulations. During the phone conversation the two leaders praised their countries' relations, which they described as developing in various fields. The presidents also stressed the importance of the Russian leader`s last visit to Azerbaijan, in particular the documents signed during it.
