Former Latvian president: Azerbaijan joins projects related to youth

“First Lady of Azerbaijan, President of Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO Goodwill Ambassador, MP, Mehriban Aliyeva is supporting projects related to youth. Her activity towards the protection of children rights, realization of healthcare and other projects always aroused my interest”, Vaira Vike-Freiberga, Former Latvian President and present vice-chair of the Reflection group on the long term future of the European Union, told journalists in Baku.

“The aim of my visit to Azerbaijan, is to join the youth projects in this country. I have already held several meetings. And I would say that I am fully satisfied with my visit”, said Vike-Freiberga.
