OSCE: Azerbaijan is a 3rd country to host seminar on cyber crime

Azerbaijan is a third country after Serbia and Croatia to host an event on cyber crime, Head of OSCE Baku Office Bilge Cankorel said. The more internet communications are used, the more pressing issue their safety becomes, he said.

"On July 1, 2010, Azerbaijan ratified the Convention on Cyber Crime. Based on this convention Azerbaijan undertakes to improve legislation in this area working closely with ISPs. And the main objective of the seminar is an assistance to Azerbaijan in this sphere," Cankorel added.
