An Azerbaijani soldier, wounded in a shootout provoked by the Armenian side on Sept. 3, died, according to the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense.

Thus, two Azerbaijani soldiers - 34-year-old Ahmad Abdullayev drafted from Jalilabad region and 24-year-old Farid Ahmadov drafted from Khatai district of Baku were killed as a result of the cease-fire violated by the Armenian Armed Forces.
The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry confirmed the armed incident on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops.
On Sept. 3, Armenian Armed Forces launched an offensive on the positions of Azerbaijani Armed Forces located near Chileburt village of Terter region to take revenge for the loss that the Armenian side suffered on Aug. 31, the Defense Ministry said. As a result of fire, one Azerbaijani soldier was killed, another one got wounded. According to preliminary reports, the body of the deceased was taken by the Armenian side.
