Azerbaijani MPs monitor Moldova referendum

Azerbaijani parliamentarians Nizami Isgandarov and Rufat Guliyev watched a referendum on constitutional changes in Moldova as members of the international observation team on Sept. 5. Moldova citizens living in Azerbaijan also participated in the voting at the polling station No295 at the embassy of this country.

After the Constitutional Court of Moldova recognizes results of voting, the parliament will be dissolved to hold snap parliamentary elections. If people support changes, parliamentary and presidential elections will be conducted the same day and president will be elected by the nationwide vote.
