Film "Nagorno Karabakh: truth and lies ..." presented in Azerbaijan

"The film tells the story about the history of the conflict. The essence of those processes is reflected in details", the Center for Strategic Research director Elkhan Nuriyev said at the presentation of the film.

He said that all genres must be used to bring the truth about Karabakh to the world community.

Such films should be shot about every village, every settlement under the occupation, the film author Hawwa Mammadova said.

"A 35-minute film was translated into English. We plan to translate it into other languages", she said.

MP said that now the world listens to witnesses. Witnesses of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict should share their memories. Every citizen of Azerbaijan must be aware of the position to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, reviewer of the film Rabiyyat Aslanova said. She said that this film holds a special place in the historiography of the country.

Speaking at the event MP Ganira Pashayeva said this film is a message for the youth and future generations, calling on every citizen to do everything possible to promote the truth about the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

"First of all, this film must be distributed through embassies and diaspora organizations of Azerbaijan among our compatriots living abroad", Pashayeva said.

She said that the struggle for Karabakh is a struggle for honor and dignity of Azerbaijan.
